The flower for May is Lily of the Valley. It’s a wonderfully sweet smelling flower, and it grows in abundance at my Dad’s house. It’s a sure sign that spring has arrived and with it, my birthday.

Lily of the Valley was grandma’s favorite. I would try (as would your grandfather years ago) to get her Muguet De Bois (sic) for her on Mother’s Day. I’ll always love that scent!

Yeah, I remember Grandma having some sort of Lily of the Valley scented stuff when Sis and I would play with her jewelry and perfume.
