Exactly - healthy habits! I'm a lot better when it comes to fruits and veggies than I used to be. I do need to increase activity, but it's tough when it's over 40C outside.

I can't live without carbs! Definitely not. I think Atkins diets style are just crazy.

It's all about healthy habits. I cook a lot of veggies so I know I can eat "as much as I need", same goes for fruits or low-fat yogurt. I couldn't do points I think... Increasing activity level is great too.

I know it can be frustrating but keep it up!

Puppie, I read that too, that's why it's in my daily cocktail. And the calcium is helping with other PMS symptoms.

I thought about a fridge, but my cube is small, and though it's not that close to me, my boss has a fridge in her office so we don't have to deal with the public fridge. It's nothing for me to throw a bunch of that sort of thing in my lunchbox with some ice packs, so long as it's all toss and go. It's the prep that is a stumbling block for me. As for drinks - I live in the desert so I'm never without something to drink. You'll see soon enough! I also love the Crystal Light singles, so a large variety of those live in my desk drawer.

Mommy, teeth work is not a diet. That bag of Hershey's Nuggets will lead to more teeth work. It's creative, I'll give you that, but certainly not healthy. Take a hint from Grandma - you can put bowls of candy all over house, but don't eat it. You need to have other people come over and eat it.

I dieted yesterday. I had half of my teeth scaled starting at 10am, the novacaine didn't wear off till almost 2pm, gums a bit sore from needle, ate cheese on Ritz for dinner. Today I'm ravenous but will try not to eat the entire bag of Hershey Nuggets I just bought. I don't have PMS anymore. I can usually get pissed off rather easily every day. (But no one is usually around to hear me)

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that magnesium helps with sugar cravings.

If you can sneak a mini-fridge up underneath your desk at work, that helps a LOT. Mine is black so as to blend into the shadows a bit. But it helps so much because I can keep it stocked with yogurt and string cheese and baby carrots and beverages and sugar-free pudding. And being able to just reach down and get something, instead of having to walk halfway across the floor, makes me more likely to drink my fluids.
