I am not a huge halloween fan though I do think it is fun for the kids so I do give out candy to the little ones. Though I HATE when teenagers come begging. GGGRRR!!! LoL! I LOVE to eat and I love to hear people ooh and aww over my cooking, though i do hate to cook LoL, so I do like Thanks giving. I wish they would slow down and allow us to enjoy this holiday before it became christmas. Christmas is my Favorit but it seems to fly by and I think it is because the season has become about the rush. My daughter has been listening to christmas music since halloween and would have decorated if my Mister would have allowed it. My Mister is like "NO WAY!" LoL! I have listened to a bit of christmas music but I am like my Mister and wanting to save and svor it. I am sure the weekend after Thanksgiving though our tree will be up. I am also like you in that I have alway perfered larger dogs. When I was a young girl we also had a german shephard and that was the best dog ever. Now I have a shephard/collie mix, a corgi, and a chihuahua and I have learned that I do not have the energy to keep up with the bigger dogs any more. Though my big dog is older and not the entergetic dog she once was it still seems though she is the best behaved dog she getts the short end of the stick on attention and I feel bad for her. It is easier with the little dogs because the require less in the walking and exercise and for attantion they can jump up in your lap and go to sleep while you pet them and watch TV or surf the net. can't do that with a big dog.
