Lisa, I was shocked when they came out of the kitchen. Huge! Even the picture with the measuring tape doesn't seem to do it justice.

KFJ, I don't think pancakes get much better than that was. I love me some yummy pancakes!

Amy, I feel the same way! Even though I sit at a desk and shuffle paper around all day, the chance for injury is high. I almost hit someone with a binder clip because there was too much paper for the size of the clip, and I had such difficulty getting it off that when it finally released the paper it went flying out of my cube! Good thing no one was walking down the aisle just then...

Dude, I feel your pain with the papercut thing. Under the nails cuts are the WORST. I remember catching underneath my thumb-nail with a staple once, and although it didn't bleed I was in pain for almost a week. The perils of office work, hey...? :)

We still learned something on the trip to <s>Imposter</s> Lost City, and it was a fun drive - boring but fun. It is fun learning the not-so-well-known history of our adopted home.

What a huge pancake! I love the cool checkered diner dish it's on!

Sorry the trip to the Lost City didn't turn out like you expected. That history is still so cool, though! I never knew anything about it.
