I did finally find a veil at the craft store, I just need to finish the top of it up a bit. And I think, since I am so prone to putting my hair up, that I will just wear it in a simple bun, but with a clip. I saw some clips in the store the other day that will accomodate my hair in that way, so I just need to fine one a bit fancier and I'm all set. Once my hair is up, I won't have to worry about whether it's windy or not. It was my something borrowed part. I betcha you could find something like it in a vintage store. You can get ones that are aged looking with rhinestones that have patina. (Which dulls the rhinestones out a bit, so they are not bright and blingy). Ya, best not to fight the hair on your wedding day. Makes hair difficult but great for the skin. I've just got to find some time to go shopping to see what appeals to me. I would suggest fooling around with a few styles pre-wedding, I think you'll come up with something you like. Humid is when it gets over 10% humidity, so yeah. Very dry. I don't like my hair straight. I've straightened it before and not liked the way it looks on me, so I figure why bother. My everyday stuff lets the curl do what it wants, so I'm thinking that with my MOH's curling iron to help the stubborn pieces along. I just got to find something to hold it back with that's nicer than the everyday without being totally bling. And hairspray! Good idea. But if it is humid, it gets a little frustrating. It sounds like your hair likes to be curly, as does mine. Maybe buy some products to accentuate the curly.
