I actually still listen to some Def Leppard. I had no idea at the time how ... grown up they lyrics to Pour Some Sugar on Me were, I just liked it because I'm a sweets freak.

Pour Some Sugar on Me rocks. The lyrics make absolutely no sense whatsoever, but it still rocks.

I listened to a lot of Huey Lewis in high school.

That's the way it was with my friends! Jordan was my favorite, and Joey was the favorite of 2 of my friends. I spent way too much money on it, thanks to that ice cream shop job I had at the start of the obsession.

I have a pic somewhere of my bedroom, which was wallpapered in NKOTB pictures from the magazines. I doubt I'll be posting it though.

Kirsten - that NKOTB song is a classic.. ;) not a lapse in judgment! hehe I loved NKOTB too.. Donnie in particular.

Boy bands were most interesting because all my friends usually had different favourites in the band. I had my real obsession with a band when I was a little older - and therefore financially able to spend a bit of money on it. And I did spend a *lot* of money on it.. I must scan those pics of my bedroom in one day..

Cheers,
Snos

Yeah, I did have a lapse in judgment there with the New Kids. I was 15 and got caught up in the mayhem. It's probably why I have such a huge disdain for boy bands these days.

I like most of your selections (New kids on the block?? No thanks!). I sometimes listen to the Big 80's channel on satellite radio. The Hair Band channel is good too.

Oh yes, the 1985 Ford Tempo that outlived high school by exactly 2 days. Nope, don't miss it a bit, but we sure had a lot of fun going anywhere and everywhere we could get away with!
