Remember the Toe
Remember my toe? It’s still healing. Since you all loved to see the picture of my pale blue and slightly swollen toe, I thought’ you’d really enjoy this.
There is a crack at the bottom of the black part, and once in awhile dried blood flakes out of it. I can’t wait until it grows out more and I can pick the whole black part off. I know, I’m gross. My own injuries fascinate me. Deal with it.

Ouch. I had something similar happen with my toe once…I just kept the nail laquer on. Probably not the best treatment for it, but there was no way I could give up sandals and shove my already sore tootsie into confining shoes.
It’s not horrid. It look like it’s gonna be all better soon.

DSB - the crack at the bottom of the black part goes right down to the nailbed, otherwise I would consider painting them. I’m way too much of a baby when it comes to the potential that anything could sting or burn.
N - thanks! It will be better as soon as it grows out, and my toenails grow at a snail’s pace. But at least it doesn’t hurt!
