I’ve been having fun with the mix CD exchanges, except that I’ve been so freaking busy lately that I’ve had a hard time keeping up. This one, a “Scavenger Hunt” CD like the two others I did, was supposed to be done in May, but I got it done, finally. Now I just need to find my way to the post office. Good thing I work right around the corner from it.

So, without further adieu, here’s what I came up with:

4. A cowboy song - Good Friday by Cowboy Junkies

5. A song about music - Radio Radio by Elvis Costello

6. A song about the weather - Listening for the Weather by Bic Runga

7. Pick a name, any name - Annie by Jonatha Brooke

8. Something imaginary - Imaginary Friend by Chantal Kreviazuk

9. A song by a singer/band from a continent you don’t live on - Please Sister by The Cardigans

10. A pretty ugly song - Reasons to Be Beautiful by Hole

11. Don’t just sit there, get moving! (a song about some sort of action/physical activity) - The Hymn of Ordinary Motion by Douglas, Barenberg & Meyer

12. Money – either you got it or you don’t - I Got Money Now by P!nk

13. Seasonal songs – a song either mentioning a season or having to do with certain seasons - Four Seasons in One Day by Crowded House

14. Hello/Goodbye - Carrion by Fiona Apple

15. A really good cover version - Crazy Train by Emm Gryner

16. A song that reminds you of school days - Twice As Hard by The Black Crows

17. A song for those quiet rainy days - I Think It’s Going to Rain Today by Bette Midler

18. A song with the word ‘look’ in the title - Looking for Answers by Susan Tesdechi

I know some of the songs are the same as on previous lists, but it’s a different group this time around, so this mix is new to them. Anyway, they’re going out within the next few days, and hopefully that will kick start this group into action, because apparently I’m not the only one in this group who’s been slacking.
