I Have Arrived
Well, I finally made it to my mom’s house. The flight was uneventful, but according to my seatmate (my very w_i_d_e seatmate), we flew throught a thunderstorm. I didn’t notice, because I was asleep. I’m glad I can sleep on a plane. Anyhoo, got into Boston a half hour earlier than I originally thought, which was nice because I made the 7:19 train out. And of course I had my beloved Dunkin Donuts, before I even left the airport. The selection was overwhelming.
My dad picked me up at the train station - they moved it down the street and built a big garage and platform. It looks respectable now, and people actually park there. Bubba was playing his Gameboy and had a nice case of bedhead. For someone who was so excited to see me, he barely looked up from his game. When he was 6 he was the same way and ended up dropping the thing in the toilet because he couldn’t put it down long enough to pee.
Anyhoo, I’d write more but my mom is hollering to come eat dinner, which I ought to do because I napped right through lunch. More later.
