My Feet Hurt…
…because I forgot my comfy shoes at the office today, so I was on my feet for 3 hours in heels at Job#2. That was a mistake, I should have remembered my shoes, but I was halfway to work from work when I remembered. Going back to get them would have made me late.
Spending today: $10.00 on lunch. See, I was all set to eat, got my lunch out of the fridge when Pretty Lady Dammit came over to me and yelled at me to put it away because we were all going to Macayo’s. The air conditioner people were in making a dusty, noisy mess to replace all our ductwork along with our a/c unit, so not only was it loud and dirty, it was hot in the office. So I went with them and bought myself lunch. The enchilada was much better than a dusty salad and glass of water that can’t stay cold long enough to drink it. I’ll have the dusty salad tomorrow.
In other news, we might be able to lure Dr. Grandma to come back to work for us. I hear she’s really really not happy at the new job, that it’s sucking the life out of her. We are a much more fun bunch, I really don’t understand why she left. Hopefully Mad Scientist has some luck getting her out of the clutches of Red Tape Hospital and back where she belongs, which is with us.
