Feeding My Blog Addiction
I mentioned earlier that I’m addicted to blogging. I’m also finding more and more blogs to read. Usually I just go to Blogger’s main page and watch the recently updated blogs float by, and click on ones that seem interesting. It’s a crapshoot, basically. They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, and you definitely can’t judge a blog by its title. Many of them are brand new blogs with the obligatory “This is My First Post!” post, and even more of them are spam blogs. Then there are the ones with really clever titles, and when I click on them they end up being in a foreign language, so I can’t read them. Here’s a tip - if you’re going to write your blog in a foreign language, put the title in the same language! Common sense people!
Once in awhile I’ll stumble across something interesting. Last night I came across The Bestest Blog of All-Time. It’s basically a link exchange for blogs, and a lot of the blogs on there are quite interesting to read. And so far, no spam blogs or foreign language blogs. I’ve linked to it on the right, and the owner of the blog linked to me. Maybe more people will read about my super boring mundane existence now.
Great blog. I just came across it from bestest blog, so I guess it works in getting more people to see you… I am new to this blog thing but I am finding out that it can be addicting.
I read a few of your posts and also clicked a few links my favorite one being the care of an introvert, that was a great story. I am going to have to give that to my wife, now maybe she will understand me:) any way keep up the good work.

Just to let you know that ‘The Bestest Blog’ site works. I too am catching this rather addictive blogging bug but also struggling to come up with my own unique ideas. I posted a link on ‘The Bestest Blog’ site yesterday and sent the obligatory e-mail but still nothing… How long is the turn-around rate there… Do you know?

I agree with the blog search thing… It’s addictive and you’ve got to wade through a lot of foreign stuff to get anything with substance.

Margie, my blog was posted within the hour on the Bestest Blog site. I guess it depends on whether the blog owner is online and how much other stuff they have to go through.
